Book Review – The Pasta Family

About the Book

75 year-old mother of five and grandmother of two MARGUERITE CICCOLINI has written and published the delightful illustrated children’s book “THE PASTA FAMILY”, about a little girl’s first and most important life lesson.

“THE PASTA FAMILY” is for ages 2-8.  A charming journey into awareness and love, “THE PASTA FAMILY”’s colorful characters and inviting illustrations affirm the importance of parental support and understanding and bring a message of hope, forgiveness, and “old school” Italian-American family values to all.

My Take on the Book
This story was a heartwarming tale that truly explais the importance of communicating the love that one has for their children as well as the importance of family. The art within the book was a bit rough, but it was illustrated by a family member of the author and though not as professional as some stories, the idea of using different pasta types for the family members was cute and brought forward the needed effect, and the message was definitely received by the reader.
